Working with Animoto, there are a variety of different sound tracks available to enhance projects. A significant number of audio files are free, while others require minimal payment.
It is also possible to export a completed Animoto video (MP4) and subsequently upload to YouTube. However, sound tracks that are free in Animoto for videos produced and housed on the Animoto web site are not always compatible with YouTube's music copyright policy.
Notices may be sent to YouTube account holders detailing information about soundtracks being claimed. It may be a better practice to export and save for personal reasons, but embed into LibGuides (or other cloud information portals) directly from Animoto.
Used for a New Faculty Orientation LibGuide, the first Animoto video highlights available library resources. The embed code used is from Animoto. The 21st Century Classroom Animoto video is used in Angel as a short course introduction sequence. It was exported as a movie file and uploaded to YouTube.
