Make Learning Active!

Presentation Abstract:

When students seem more engaged with their cell phones than you, it’s time to put this love of technology to use in the classroom.  Web 2.0 tools are simple and fun ways to incorporate active learning into traditional and online classrooms.  We will share activities and tools that encourage active learning strategies.  Learn how to use Twitter, Animoto, Wallwisher, Voki, and more! Instead of having your students turn off and tune out engage them with technology in the classroom.  Attendees will leave with a list of free online tools and the knowledge to successfully introduce active learning strategies.
